Pros:
- Easy to operate
- Adjustable stroke (adjustable feed rate)

- Weatherable - can sit outside
- Ball check valves have longer life than "duck bills"
Cons:
- Multi-step priming process
- Will not pump air
- Noticable "thumping" sound from diaphragm movement

- Easily primed, can pump air
- Easy to operate

- Fixed rate reduces decisions to make
- Relatively quiet operation
Cons:
